Every now and again I play with the camera without any serious photographic intent...this was one of those times, but it paid off. I was on the St. Lawrence University campus at night using lamplight as my primary source of illumination. Snow had freshly fallen on the bare hardwoods creating a crystalized winter wonderland. This perspective shot was taken from the base of the trunk facing upward.
