Program Summary:
This program is presented by Grace Committee Chair, Douglas R. Arnold #4693W and other members of the committee. "Shaping the History and Lore of the High Peaks" will introduce John A. Dix, Herb Clark #1, George Marshall #2, Bob Marshall #3. The program will present mini-biographies of Grace Hudowalski #9 and Russ Carson and explain the connection between Peaks and People of the Adirondacks, the 46ers of Troy and the Adirondack 46ers. We will also explore the history of how the mountains got their names and the procedure to rename them.
